good game!

Me gusto mucho juegazo

Had lots of fun playing this game! Eerie and atmospheric, plus some good scares! I do love me some nautical horror!
Really nice visuals and sound design, too!

Checkpoints would been nice but it wasnt a deal breaker.  fantastic atmosphere, sound, and spooks!  please make more games!

This was a pretty fun game! I wasn't expecting the enemy design to be what it was, but the atmosphere was great, it didn't last too long and overall had some great tense moments. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see what you do next!

Thank you so much my friend, it's much appreciated!

Great concept. Very immersive and claustrophobic.

Thank you SenorSpooks! I hope my next project will also be immersive and claustrophobic!

I hope so too Dev. Great concept. appreciate your effort.

Thank you my friend!

Very good little horror. But i forgot about the flashlight )

Thank you my friend, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Great little game, especially for a first project! Love games that explore the theme of underwater horror.

Wasn't sure if having the flashlight off helped being hidden from the enemy but it seemed to have worked as I wasn't found :D Otherwise had good atmosphere and got quite tense at the end, nice work!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! And yeah the flashlight does nothing... or does it? ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o)

This was pretty good. Definitely could use a checkpoint system so that when the player dies nearing the end, they don't have to restart the whole game. Overall, though this was good. Made a video on it.

Yeah I completely agree! I'll keep that in mind for my next project, thanks :)

Great game! The ship was so cool, and was totally a stand out point of the game.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Good game

Thank you!

Eerie and unsettling, the claustrophobic nature of being weighed down in the copper headed deep sea diving gear really immerses the player in the depths. There is an unnatural feeling of always being watched and the sounds were really immersive. Would have loved to have seen more and possibly come across notes and lore from the Intrepid Explorer - think there could have been a rich backstory of the fate of the crew and how the ship was actually sunk. Great indie game, looking forward to more in the future.

Pros:

  • Unsettling and claustrophobic vibe in the depths of the ocean - continually feel like you're being watched by an ethereal presence.
  • Although the format is simplistic (walk to here, grab this, come back) the tension is palpable with the reveal of the spider crab, ghost pirates and the ship itself.
  • Sound design is great
  • Don't walk off into the abyss!

Cons

  • Felt like some of the deaths were a little cheap (the pathway below the crate when the fish are after you should be highlighted a little easier)
  • Instead of sending the player all the way back to the start, maybe there could be a check point implemented?
  • Perhaps the lanterns could be replaced with some kind of bio luminance fish life - would the Intrepid Explorer's lanterns still be lighted underwater after it had sunk? Trivial side note though

Here's to swimming with bow-legged women!

Thank you so much for the feedback, I will definitely keep these things in mind for my next project! :)

Really love this game! The constant feeling of being watched with the unsettling music really made it a great experience!

Thank you my friend, I'm glad you liked it!

This was awesome! You really nailed the immersion and overall atmosphere. The "old school scuba-helmet"-POV really made a big difference. Great job and looking forward to more stuff from you.

Thank you so much my friend, I'm looking forward to making more games!

Holy goddamn shit I love this little gem. I would love to see a full feature of this, with enemies, more lore and large creatures. Love the art and atmosphere

Hey I really enjoyed this! There really should be more underwater horror games, its a niche not very well explored.  It took me a while to complete because I was finding it difficult to navigate in the dark during the final "event", and also I'm an idiot.

One thing to note is whatever sounds playing on the main menu are being flagged as copyright audio on Twitch and YouTube, as you can see here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1698653626?t=0h37m1s

Hi BrownPants, thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
It's weird that it's getting flagged, as it's a copyright free sound, but i'll look into it and perhaps change it for a different one.
